Common Foot Conditions We Treat

  • Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails occur when the edge of a toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, redness, swelling, and infection. At Denver Vein Center, we offer same-day evaluation and treatment for immediate relief!

  • Fungal Toenails

Toenail fungus can cause nails to become thick, discolored, brittle, or difficult to trim. Dr. McNelly will provide expert opinion on the best option for each patient.

  • Plantar Fasciitis & Heel Pain

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain and often causes sharp pain with the first steps in the morning. Treatment focuses on reducing inflammation and addressing the mechanical factors contributing to the condition.

  • Warts & Skin Conditions

Plantar warts, calluses, corns, and other skin conditions can become painful or difficult to manage at home. A podiatric evaluation can identify the cause and simple yet effective treatments are just a visit away.

  • Bunions, Hammertoes, and Foot Deformities

Bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, and other structural deformities can cause pain, pressure, difficulty with footwear, and changes in walking. Treatment ranges from footwear modifications and orthotics to podiatric surgery.

  • Tendon Disorders

Tendon problems, including Achilles and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, can cause pain, swelling, weakness, and difficulty walking. Early evaluation can help prevent progressive tendon damage and changes in foot alignment.

  • Diabetic & At-Risk Foot Care

Diabetes, neuropathy, and vascular disease can increase the risk of wounds and other foot complications. Regular evaluation and early treatment of problems can help protect long-term foot health. Both Dr. McNelly and Dr. Le have extensive experience in diabetic foot and wound care.

Custom Orthotics Management

Custom orthotics are prescription shoe inserts designed to improve foot alignment, support abnormal biomechanics, and reduce stress on painful areas. They can treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, flat feet, tendon disorders, and other foot abnormalities.

At Denver Vein Center, we will evaluate your foot structure and walking mechanics and recommend custom orthotics where appropriate. We also will adjust your orthotics once they are made to ensure the perfect fit and function.
