We’ve all heard of Botox and what it does when injected into the face. The results can be transformative and give you a youthful look. However, too much of a good thing can have devastating effects. Botox is no different. When you consider having Botox treatments look for experience and success. Denver Vein Center and Aesthetic Laser Specialists have years of experience providing aesthetic treatments designed to make you look and feel younger including Botox injections. We have a highly experienced staff that will make sure your treatments are administered correctly to give you a naturally beautiful look.
Botox is very effective at reducing the lines that appear between your brows called glabellar lines. These are the result of muscle movements over time. When you furrow you brow, for example, the underlying facial muscles contract causing the overlaying skin to pleat. After years of this crinkling and wrinkling, glabellar lines start to linger a little longer and can become more pronounced, exaggerated and permanent. Botox has also been recently approved by the FDA to treat Crow’s Feet, the wrinkles at the corner of your eyes.
No need to keep frowning or looking like you are. We use BOTOX ® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce moderate to severe glabellar lines. Our treatment can visibly smooth and soften those frown lines between your brows. Patients typically see improvement within days and it may last up to four months. In clinical trials, nearly 90 percent of all patients surveyed rated the improvement in appearance of frown lines between their brows as moderate to better one month after treatment.
The non-surgical treatments typically take 10 minutes. Just a few tiny injections will give you noticeable improvement within days. Everyone is different, so our Botox specialist will determine where to make the injections based on the size, location and use of the muscles used to furrow your brow. No anesthesia is required, though some like to numb the area with ice or cream. There is no recovery time and the procedure is so simple it can be done over your lunch break. Injections may be given up to every four months to help maintain results.
